OSHA card FAQs

I completed and passed an OSHA 10 Hour or OSHA 30 Hour course. When can I expect to receive my card?

You can typically expect to receive the card between 6 and 8 weeks following the completion of the related course. If you have not received your card after 8 weeks or your employer needs to verify your completion before you’ve received your card, please contact Customer Support

Note: Upon completion of the OSHA course, you can print a Diploma that you can use temporarily until your card arrives.

Where will my card be sent?

The card will automatically be sent to the mailing address associated with your account.

It has been 8 weeks and I still haven't received my card.

If 8 weeks have passed since your completion date, please contact Customer Support and we will look into the status of your card.

When does an OSHA 10/30-hour card expire? How often does the OSHA 10/30-hour program need to be renewed?

OSHA 10/30-hour cards do not have an expiration date printed on them. The cards themselves never expire, however certain factors can require that the OSHA be renewed or refreshed regularly.

According to OSHA, the student course completion cards do not have an expiration date. The form and content of additional training are left to the discretion of the student and/or employer. This means the cards themselves do not expire, but some employers may require additional refresher training regularly (usually every 3 or 5 years).

Additionally, some states (like California, Nevada, Connecticut, and New York to name a few) have their own specific OSHA programs or requirements that must be completed before a worker enters a job site in that state. Some of these requirements dictate how often a worker must take the appropriate OSHA 10- or 30-hour program for their state.

If you are unsure of your local requirements, contact your employer’s safety department or supervisor for more information.
